Podcast to launch NHBC Foundation’s 50th research publication

We are delighted to announce the 50th research report published by the NHBC Foundation;

Designing homes for the 21st Century – lessons for low energy design. This guide explores the challenges of designing zero carbon homes and helps identify the processes needed to achieve cost effective and practical design, finding that current design and procurement practices need to change if these are to be addressed.Since 2006, the NHBC Foundation has been supporting the house-building industry by providing research and guidance on a wide range of topical subjects. Now celebrating its 50th publication, the NHBC Foundation will continue to support by leading debate and thinking, reporting on key and pressing issues relevant to the homes of the future.

To mark this milestone, we have put together a short informative podcast featuring: Neil Smith, Head of Research and Innovation at NHBC, Robin Nicholson of Cullinan Studio and NHBC Board member, and the report author Richard Partington of Richards Partington Architects.
